CUSTOM DESIGNS
The Process of Creating A Custom Piece of Jewelry
- Step 1The jeweler and the customer meet to create sketches of how the finished piece will look.
- Step 2The jeweler hand carves a wax image of the piece being created.
- Step 3The customer approves the wax.
- Step 4The wax is cast into the metal of choice.
- Step 5The piece is brought to a high polish finish.
- Step 6The gemstones are set in the piece.
- Step 7The finished product is cleaned, polished, and brought to Scoville quality.
